Our Story and Mission
To a Central Texas native raised in the ranching and farming world, auctions weren’t just events—they were a way of life. Eddy became a licensed auctioneer in 1977 and founded Eddie Lange & Associates in 1982, originally located across Business 190 from our current site. Thousands of auctions later, auctioneering continues to be a source of pride and purpose as we help turn “one man’s junk” into someone else’s treasure. We’re proud to invest in our local communities through benefit auctions and ongoing support of local charities.
The Grisham family put down roots in Central Texas nearly 100 years ago, establishing Grisham Farms. What began as a modest family farm grew into a successful operation producing oats, wheat, corn, milo, cattle, hay, and cotton. Charlie has always had a passion for farm equipment and machinery, spending much of his life hands-on in the field.
In 2019, Charlie experienced a major life change when he decided to become a licensed auctioneer and fulfill a lifelong dream. He began working with Eddy Lange and, in time, took the helm—founding Heidenheimer Auction Company (HAC).
